3825374 - How SAP Concur is taking care of vulnerability of Intel Processors?

Symptom

Millions of computers may be vulnerable to a leak in Intel-processors. The vulnerability resides in ‘speculative execution’, an optimization method where it is attempted to predict certain tasks or calculations to make the processor faster. If such a prediction comes true, the calculation can be performed quicker because the data was already loaded earlier. If the prediction is incorrect, then it’s discarded. Researchers found a way to perform a side channel-attack that can bypass this memory isolation. That way an attacker can see sensitive information from the kernel memory.
