3825549 - Can a booking that comes into a Concur Request affect the selected start and end dates of the Request?

I created a Concur Request, and I put February 1 as the start date, and February 5 as the end date.  However, when I booked with my agency, I actually booked different dates, February 3 through Feb 7.

When the booking linked to my request, the end date changed to February 7 like my booking, but the start date did not update to February 3.  Why did this occur?
