Symptom
Itemization is required for expenses that is showing under the Lodging Category.
Itemization must come before Allocation or else all allocation be overridden.
Follow these steps to remove the exception:
- Open your Expense Report.
- Itemize the Lodging expense by clicking Itemize on the expense entry.
- After itemization open each entry and click Allocate.
- Update the Percentage column to equal 100%.
- Click Save.
Itemized expenses can also be allocated. When a user allocates itemized expenses, the "parent" expense retains no allocation information; the allocations apply only to the itemizations.
NOTE: Itemized expenses that are to be allocated should be itemized first, then allocated. If the user allocates and then itemizes, the allocations will be lost.
