3826482 - iOS App Transport Security Enforcement (ATS) FAQ for Concur mobile app

At Concur, our goal is to provide a seamless user experience for our clients. We prepared this FAQ to help affected customers understand an upcoming change that Apple has announced.

App Transport Security (ATS), introduced in Apple’s iOS 9 and OS X v10.11, improves user security and privacy by requiring apps to use secure network connections over HTTPS (as opposed to HTTP). A significant number of Concur clients who are Single Sign-On (SSO)-enabled redirect to HTTP pages and not HTTPS. Once Apple’s enforcement of ATS goes into effect, users of these customers will receive an error when attempting to use our Concur mobile app.

App Transport Security (ATS) improves user security and privacy by requiring apps to use secure network connections. Customers accessing the Concur Mobile application through Apple’s iOS devices may be affected by the App Transport Security (ATS) enforcement. SAP Concur extended the ATS enforcement until the November 2018 Mobile Release. Customers must take the appropriate action to meet ATS enforcement requirements to continue accessing Concur Mobile through Single Sign-on (SSO).
