3826924 - Why was a ticket that had been exchanged and then cancelled within 24 hours sent to the Void queue and not the Cancel queue?

The ticket was exchanged using a credit. I cancelled within 24 hours of the exchange and the record was sent to the Void queue and not the expected Cancel queue.
