3826980 - Why is entry not saving when modifying multiple expenses?

When users try and modify multiple expenses with a connected list, the entry is not saving. For example, when you change the expense type from one without a connected list to one with a connected list, select a value and save,  the system will run and say it's OK but the data is not saving in the field.

I also noticed that the first field (which is automatically populated is showing as blank). I have tried this on Chrome, Firefox and IE.
