3827044 - Why are requests not automatically closed?

Symptom

The Request Active Days feature determines how long an approved or cancelled request will remain active. It adds a specific number of days to the end date of a request. If the request doesn't have an end date, SAP Concur will use the last approved date or the cancelled after approval date to automatically close the request.

However, if the Request Active Days field is left blank, requests will not have an expiration date, and they will not be automatically closed.

Therefore, it is important to carefully consider the implications of leaving this field blank and ensure that requests are appropriately closed within a reasonable timeframe to maintain accurate records and streamline the approval process.

What could potentially be occurring in the case of a customer who has this option set in their policy, but their requests are not automatically being closed?
