Symptom
To ignore a batch in the Invoice Capture system, you can manually do so if the batch does not comply with the client's processing guidelines. Ignoring a batch means that no invoice will be created, and an email notification will be sent to your exception email address with details about the error encountered. Common reasons for ignoring a batch include missing information (such as total amount, missing pages, or cut-off), illegible images (like multiple invoices in a single attachment or blurred totals), or if the attachment is not an invoice according to the processing guidelines (e.g., labeled as Do Not Pay, Statement, or currency mismatch).
