3827211 - Why did I receive an email from TripIt Support regarding AirHelp and compensation for a flight disruption.

Symptom

Support at TripIt will email the TripIt Traveler if their flight may be eligible for compensation due to a delay or cancellation on eligible flights to/from/within the European Union (EU) and Brazil.

Once the claim is filed, AirHelp does the rest of the hard work, including the paperwork and communication with the airlines—helping you claim compensation for your inconvenience. All this is possible because of air passenger rights regulations that protect passengers against lengthy delays and other travel disruptions. AirHelp will only deduct a service fee from the total compensation amount if the claim is successful. If AirHelp is unable to assist  in receiving compensation, you aren't charged anything
