3827336 - Why do I get a full-width character when I enter a half-width character in a list item name and save?

Symptom

I want to rename a list item in full-width (double-byte) characters to half-width (single-byte) characters as follows:

Current: ＡＢＣ
To: ABC

However, if I change the list item name to ABC and save, it will revert back to ＡＢＣ.
How can I change it to half-width?

Expense / Invoice > List Management

Product
