3827351 - Error in logs: Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment

Symptom

When trying to save a user profile I am getting an error message stating that:
The e-mail address appears to be invalid
The e-mail address appears to be invalid

I realized the e-mail address of the user is not correct and incomplete. After I corrected the e-mail address, I tried to save the user's profile and are now getting an error 500.
