Symptom
After enabling Microsoft Intune with App Protection Policies, users attempting SSO login to the SAP Concur mobile app may experience authentication failures. The login attempt triggers an AADSTS90014 error indicating a missing 'request' field in the credential, suggesting an incomplete or blocked authentication flow.
This behavior has been observed across multiple organizations, particularly when strict Intune App Protection or Conditional Access policies are applied.
The issue affects both:
-
Android (especially when Chrome is not the default browser or when authentication flows are intercepted incorrectly)
-
iOS (especially if Safari cannot properly handle the authentication request or if Edge browser restrictions apply)
