3828623 - Why is a user's report header field mapped to an old value after the field in their profile was modified?

A user recently submitted a report and when I accessed it in order to approve it, the report header had an incorrect value at the cost center field.
Upon investigation, it seems that this cost center is the old one the user was assigned to before it was updated in their profile.
