3829342 - Error: "A user cannot be active while AccountTerminationDateUTC is a past or current date"

Symptom

We are using the User Identity API to set a future Account Termination Date for employees.

However, when a future termination date is provided, such as a date in 2090, the API returns the following error:

"A user cannot be active while AccountTerminationDateUTC is a past or current date."

The error occurs even though the specified termination date is clearly in the future.
