3829769 - CDS view activation shows 'DB hint RESULT_LAG("hana_sr") is not on the allow list' and SQL 468 after upgrade

Symptom

  • After upgrade, CDS views with annotation @AbapCatalog.dbHints.hint: 'RESULT_LAG("hana_sr")' report: DB hint RESULT_LAG("hana_sr") is not on the allowlist. [RAP Designtime]
  • Changing the annotation to @Consumption.dbHints: [ 'RESULT_LAG' ] still reports the same message during activation.
  • Runtime may dump with SQL code 468: hint error: invalid hint: incorrect syntax near ")".
  • In one CDS view, execution with the hint on the secondary returns SQL code 314: numeric overflow; removing the hint returns data.
