3830156 - Error when opening 'New features are available' notification or Help in User Assistance in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• An error occurs when trying to open the 'New features are available.' notification.
• Error appears after one or more authentication pop-ups when accessing Help or the banner.
• Messages indicate the Help functionality is blocked, including text about a space not being set up and access not being allowed.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.15.3

1. Log in to SAC.
2. Click the Help icon in the header or the 'New features are available.' banner or open the notification bar using the Bell icon.
3. When the authentication pop-up appears, click Continue.
4. Observe multiple errors indicating the Help feature is blocked (for example, references to space not set up and access not allowed).

The browser's tracking prevention/third‑party cookie blocking denies storage access for the embedded authentication flow used by Help and the 'New features' banner.

1. In Microsoft Edge, open edge://settings/privacy and set Tracking prevention to Basic (or temporarily Off) and test again.
2. Open edge://settings/content/cookies and add the organization’s authentication hosts to 'Sites that can always use cookies':
   
   https://[*.]accounts.ondemand.com
   https://[*.]authentication.[TENANT LANDSCAPE, eg.:ch20].hana.ondemand.com
   https://[*.]enable-now.cloud.sap
   https://[*.]hcs.cloud.sap
   https://[*.]hana.ondemand.com
   
   
3. If the device is managed, verify that an enterprise policy is not forcing Strict tracking prevention. If it is, add exceptions for the above domains via group policy (for example, CookiesAllowedForUrls) or trusted sites.
