3830330 - Delete Action Missing For Proposed Visits In Route Work Center

Symptom

Users are unable to find the Delete action when managing Proposed Visits in Route Work Center.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Route Work Center
  2. Go to Overview → Proposed Visits
  3. Select a Proposed Visit
  4. Observe that the Delete action is not available in the actions menu

Cause

The Delete action visibility for Proposed Visits is determined by the Route status.

Routes in "Active" status do not allow deletion by design, while routes in "In Preparation" status allow the Delete action. The observed difference stems from routes having different statuses, not from user access restrictions or adaptations. 

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Route Work Center → Overview → Proposed Visits
  2. Identify the status of the route associated with the Proposed Visit
  3. If the route is in "Active" status, change the status to "In Preparation
  4. The Delete action will now be available for the Proposed Visit
  5. Perform the Delete action as required
