Resolution

The IFT2 and IFT2R reports are used to fulfill the statutory withholding tax (WHT) reporting requirements in Poland for supplier invoices subject to WHT. Both reports are generated based on the data available from cleared supplier invoices and contain the relevant WHT information. The reports are available in both XML and PDF formats. In addition, a separate PDF output is generated for each Business Partner.

The key difference between the two reports is their reporting frequency and intended use:

IFT2 – Ad Hoc WHT Report:
The IFT2 report supports ad hoc reporting and can be generated at any point during the reporting period. For example, it may be generated upon request from a supplier. Once generated, the report can be submitted to both the relevant tax authorities and the supplier.

IFT2R – Annual WHT Report:
The IFT2R report represents the annual withholding tax declaration and is submitted to the relevant tax authorities. The report can be generated using the Run Statutory Reports app.

Both the IFT2 and IFT2R reports can be generated only if the relevant Business Partner has the Financial Supplier role assigned.
