3830546 - Refresh does not Retrieve Latest Data using S/4HANA Live Connection in SAC Excel Add-in

Symptom

  1. Workbook is connected to backend, table is refreshed.
  2. New data is added to the data source in the S/4HANA backend system.
  3. Refresh does not show the new data.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Office

Cause

Program error

Resolution

The issue has been fixed and the fix is planned to be delivered with the regular shipment of the Excel Add-in in calendar week 40.

The fix will allow retrieval of new data from S4/HANA data sources using refresh without leaving the session.

Please use the logout / login workaround until 2026.21 in calendar week 40 (2937385 - Release Plan for SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Excel).
