3830604 - Model size statistics show records after cleanup and Delete facts is disabled in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• After cleaning up models (no facts left), the model size statistics still show records in the live model “SAC_MODEL_SIZES”: The results shown in “SAC_MODEL_SIZES” do not match the user’s own counts.
• The Delete facts option is disabled in the model.
• A new test story created on the cleaned model returns no data.

SAP Analytics Cloud (2026.8.5)

1. Log in to the SAC system.
2. Access the affected model.
3. Under Workspace, select "Model Structure".
4. Click the Version dimension.
5. Select the public.xxx version.
6. Click the "Delete" button on the toolbar
7. Click the Delete Selected Member option.
8. Save the model.
9. Open the "SAC_Model_Sizes" report.
   >> Notice: The records are still shown after cleanup.
   Further tests were performed 
10. Reopen the planning model in the Modeler
11. Click the "Delete Facts" button.
    >> Notice: The "Delete Facts" option is disabled.
12. Create a new story based on the model.
    >> Observe that no data is returned.

The records in "Model Size Statistics and Analysis" report had not been checked correctly after deletion. Below is the explanation, as mention in the screenshot:

1. The row with "Version Name" = (Null) : represents the total transaction records for the entire model, not a specific version; This can be misinterpreted as residual data after version deletions.
2. The "Version Records" column indicates the number of records for each individual version.
3. The total number of transaction records for the entire model is shown in the "Records" column where "Version Name" = (Null).

Check specifically the "Transaction" data after deleting the model’s versions to verify the 'number of records' and confirm whether the data has been correctly removed from the model.
