3830653 - FirstArrivalPortLocation Section Missing in XML of the eDocuments from Peru - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

You would like to add the the section FirstArrivalPortLocation in the eDocuments XML.

Environment

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the eDocument Cockpit app.
  2. Select Delivery Notes for Peru.
  3. Mark an eDocument.
  4. Choose Go To... -> Display/Preview XML.

Observe that the section FirstArrivalPortLocation is not displayed in the XML.

Cause

The FirstArrivalPortLocation section is not available in the standard eDocuments XML for Peru.

Resolution

Currently there is no specific BAdI is available for Peru in order to add the section FirstArrivalPortLocation in the eDocuments XML.

Therefore, the EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD BAdI is currently the most suitable and compliant approach to add the section FirstArrivalPortLocation in the eDocuments XML.

Using the Badi EDOC_ADAPTOR_CLOUD will allow you to directly change, remove or add information in the tags of the XML of the eDocument through a custom logic.

Therefore, it is recommended to review the implementation of a custom logic along with your development partner in order confirm the feasibility to add the section FirstArrivalPortLocation in the eDocuments XML.
