Symptom

App Display Line Items in General Ledger shows the approver in 'Journal Entry Created By' column.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the App Display Line Items in General Ledger (F2217) and perform a search so the results table is visible.
  2. Observe that "Journal Entry Created By" column shows the approver, not the creator.

Cause

There is a column 'Submitted By' in App Verify General Journal Entries (F2547A) to show who submitted the journal entry.

After approved, the actual approver will be the "created by" of posted journal entry. This is inherited in the display apps such as App Display Line Items in General Ledger (F2217).

Resolution

Consider the created by field as approver in case the entry was approved.
