3830828 - Fiori value help shows outdated supplier name while classic apps show correct description

• The supplier description appears correct in the Business Partner app and classic transactions (for example, ME51N, ME21N).
• In the Manage Purchase Order app and in Manage Purchase Requisitions Professional app, the supplier is shown with a different name in the value help (match code/search help).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Purchase Order app.
2. In a supplier input field, open the value help (search help/match code).
3. Search for the supplier using known attributes (for example, the id or postal code).
4. Observe that the name displayed in the value help differs from the name shown in the Business Partner app or classic transactions (Create Purchase Requisitions/Create Purchase Order- Advanced apps)

The Fiori value help reads from a search index that did not refresh after rapid consecutive supplier name changes, leaving an outdated name in the index while the Business Partner record shows the updated name.

1. Open the Business Partner app and navigate to the affected supplier.
2. Perform a non-impactful update and save (for example, save without changes or adjust a non-critical field) to initiate reindexing.
3. Wait 2–3 minutes.
4. Retest the supplier value help in Manage Purchase Order (and Manage Purchase Requisition) to confirm the correct name is shown.

This will trigger a re-index of the supplier record and should correct the name displayed in the value help.
