3830837 - Sales orders from customer projects do not start approval workflow in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Sales orders generated from Customer Projects bypass the approval workflow.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a Customer Project.
2. Create billing items so that a sales order is automatically generated.
3. Observe that no sales order approval workflow starts and related approval BAdI (SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON) is not called.

• Sales orders with the sales document type SO01 will not trigger the sales document workflow.
• If this process is essential, submit this requirement as a feature request through the Customer Influence Portal under the session SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Sales.
