3831014 - SAP Data Services does not automatically add new columns to permanent target tables - SAP Data Services

• When a new column is introduced in the data flow, SAP Data Services does not automatically detect the structural difference and add the new column to an existing permanent target table.
• The new column may be available in the upstream schema or Query transform; however, Data Services does not automatically alter the physical target table structure to accommodate the new column.
• There is no option in Data Services Designer to enable automatic schema drift detection or automatic creation of new columns in an existing permanent target table.
