Symptom
When using Data Retention in Field Service Management and Asset Management, users and administrators may experience one or more of the following behaviors:
- In companies configured with the C4C integration type, the Service Call Retention Policy may be unavailable or disabled, preventing administrators from configuring it.
- After a Data Retention Policy is created in FSM, the deletion process may begin immediately, causing eligible objects to be processed for soft or hard deletion sooner than expected.
- When a Data Retention Policy is active, Service Calls may be deleted based solely on their Last Changed date, regardless of their current status.
- Service Calls and their associated objects may appear to be automatically removed from the system after a defined period, even when no user has manually deleted them.
