• The onboarding welcome email is sent when onboarding is initiated.
• There is a requirement to send a reminder 7 days before the start date for the External User Welcome Message.
• In Email Services, the reminder configuration only offers frequency (in days), number of reminders, and before/after due date options.
• It is not possible to set an initial reminder to start a specific number of days before the start date or task due date for custom onboarding notifications.
• No error messages or error codes are mentioned.

1. Go to Onboarding > Administration > Email Services.
2. Open the configuration for the External User Welcome Message (onboarding welcome email).
3. Attempt to configure a reminder to be sent 7 days before the start date.
4. Observe that only frequency (in days), number of reminders, and before/after due date options are available, with no option to start reminders a specific number of days before the start date.

This is a system limitation; the current design does not support starting reminders a specific number of days before the start date or task due date for custom onboarding notifications.
