Symptom

  • The system log shows: "Database error 314 at OPC".
  • Dev traces show: "numeric overflow: <value> + <value>".
  • Additional message context in traces: "search table error: [6944]".
  • The issue is visible in SM21 and corresponding dev traces, and points to a remote SAP HANA Database connection used by Solution Manager monitoring.
