• Existing translations disappear after adding an input control to measure descriptions.
• Measure descriptions are no longer displayed correctly in the respective user language.
• The issue occurs when an existing and translated measure description is enhanced by adding an input control for a dynamic description.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.15.12
• Story Design & Visualizations

1. Create or open a story containing a measure with a static description.
2. Translate the measure description using the translation tool.
3. Verify that the translated description is displayed correctly when switching to the respective language.
4. Edit the existing measure and add an input control to its description to create a dynamic description (for example, include the selected calendar year).
5. Save the story.
6. Open the translation tool again.
7. Observe that the affected measure description is no longer displayed.

The issue is currently under investigation by the development.
