3831400 - In "Manage Business Partner - Central Governance" app, delete a Supplier/Customer company code leads to an error upon Save

Symptom

In MDG Cloud-Ready Mode using the "Manage Business Partner - Central Governance" app, when deleting a Supplier/Customer company code from a change request in "Rework" status leads to an error upon Save.
Error message: "Unspecified provider error occurred. See Error Context and Call Stack."
The error can be observed in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.
