3831406 - Date parameters can't be modified in job Analyze GR/IR Clearing Accounts and Display Acquisition Tax in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, in app Application Job templates, when maintaining for job template "Analyze GR/IR Clearing Accounts and Display Acquisition Tax" (ID SAP_FIN_GL_IR_CLR_ACQ_TX) , the dates parameters(any date - related parameters, such as key date) can not be successfully modified by "save". They are defaulted to a certain date (such as the last day of the last month). Other non-date parameters can be successfully modified and saved in the same way. No error messages or error codes are shown.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Application Job Templates app (ID: F2058).
2. Create or edit a template based on SAP_FIN_GL_IR_CLR_ACQ_TX.
3. Enter specific static dates in date-related parameters (for example, a month-end date) and save the template.
4. Observe that after saving, the date reverts to a value derived from the current system date (for example, last day of the previous month).
5. Start the job via an external job scheduler and observe that the job uses the date corresponding to the value determined at save time, not a dynamically reevaluated date.

This has been identified as a bug. The system logic defaults the date parameters when initializing the template.

A fix of the bug is being prepared.

The release date will be around 12th December 2026.
