3831423 - Unable to update field "BPIdentificationNumber" through Patch command

Fail to execute patch command to try to update field BPIdentificationNumber using URI /A_BuPaIdentification(BusinessPartner='{BusinessPartner}',BPIdentificationType='{BPIdentificationType}',BPIdentificationNumber='{BPIdentificationNumber}')There is an error with HTTP 400 "Key fields do not match" generated.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

This is a system standard behavior. As per SAP Business Accelerator Hub, the URI is used to update business partner identification data by using business partner number, identification type, and identification number. Thus, identification number is working as a key field in this scenario.

The field can be changed directly from Fiori app Maintain business partner.
