3831491 - Clearing/Reversal document status not updated in Manage Assignments after auto match in ICMR

The clearing and reversal statuses don't get synchronized after data roll-in to ICMR side. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Perform auto match for intercompany items and confirm the document updates successfully.
2. Open the Manage Assignments app and review the Assignments table.
3. Choose Show Item to see item details with clearing status.
4. Observe that the Clearing Document column in the Assignments table remains empty, while the same item in Manage Customer Line Items shows a clearing document.

1. Configure clearing and reversal synchronization for the matching method:

• Open the configuration activity  Define Additional Settings for Matching Methods .
• For the relevant matching method, enable both:
• Enable synchronization of clearing status
• Enable synchronization of reversal status
• Save the configuration.

2. Configure automatic field updates from original documents:

  2.1. Open the configuration Maintain Data Source->Field Semantics

  2.2. For the relevant data source and fields (for example, Clearing Document, Clearing Date), in Field Semantics select the Update from Original Doc. checkbox.

  2.3. Save the configuration.

Refresh the Manage Assignments app (or rerun the reconciliation where applicable) and verify that the Clearing Document field is populated in the Assignments table.

The value update takes place in the next matching run, not instantly after the value changes in the original documents. Also, only the matching items with processing status lower than 25 (Pending Confirmation) can be updated.

In the Key Field column, you also need to specify the fields for selecting the relevant matching items whose values are to be updated. For example, you may want to select fields such as company code, fiscal year, and accounting document number to identify such matching items.
