3831506 - Hotfix export failed for ALV GUI Variant Configuration during export software collection

• Attempting to export an ALV GUI Variant Configuration as part of a hotfix fails even though the pre-check is successful.
• Error message: "Hotfix export failed."
• Transport log progression: "Hotfix export started" → "Check started" → "Check for 1 items of type ALV GUI Variant Configuration started" → "1 items of type ALV GUI Variant Configuration to be exported" → "Item preprocessing started" → "Items preprocessed" → "Hotfix export failed."

1. Open Export Software Collection.
2. Choose a software collection.
3. Add an ALV GUI Variant Configuration whose name contains a non-ASCII/Unicode special character (for example, Ü) to a hotfix.
4. Export the hotfix.

• The item name contains a Unicode character that is not supported by the transport for ALV GUI Variant Configuration (for example, Ü).

1. Identify any non-ASCII/Unicode characters (for example, diacritics such as Ü, Ä, ß) in the ALV GUI Variant Configuration name.
2. Rename or recreate the item using only supported characters (ASCII letters A–Z/a–z, digits 0–9, and allowed special characters without diacritics).
3. Add the renamed item to the hotfix.
4. Export the software collection again and confirm the export completes successfully.
