3831805 - Custom card URLs point to source system after instance refresh

After performing an instance refresh from source to target, the custom card URLs on the target tenant update with the source URLs on the home page

1. Perform an instance refresh from a source system to a target system.
2. In the target system, open the home page and select any custom card configured with a URL.
3. Observe that the navigation opens the source system instead of the target system.

• This is expected behaviour.
• Custom card URLs are copied as-is during the instance refresh and are not automatically adjusted to the target environment.

• After each instance refresh, review all custom cards in the target system and manually update their URLs to point to the target system.
• Where supported, consider configuring the custom card to use only a relative deep link path (starting with “/”) instead of a full hostname, so it resolves to the currently logged-in instance. Test thoroughly.
• Be aware that if the source and target systems are on different release cycles (for example, production vs. preview), relative deep links may not resolve as expected. In such cases, manual updates are still required post refresh.
• If the issue occurs with standard inbuilt cards (not custom cards), contact support for further investigation.
