1. Use the Create Material Cost Estimates app to calculate and save a material cost estimate without errors.
2. Open the Release Material Cost Estimates app and mark the cost estimate.
3. Start the marking run and observe that the result shows 0 materials selected and 0 cost estimates updated.

A mismatch exists between the costing version maintained in the Marking allowance (for example, set to version 2) and the costing version used to create the cost estimate (version 1).

1. Open the Release Material Cost Estimates app.
2. Go to the Marking allowance settings.
3. Change the Costing version to match the version used for the costed estimate (for example, from 2 to 1).
4. Save the settings.
5. Rerun the marking process.
6. Confirm that materials are now selected and the cost estimates are updated.
