3832179 - The SelectedCodeSetText field is shown as empty in quality certificate output

Symptom

You have maintained the short description for a selected set code in Edit Selected Sets(QS51) app, and it's possible to find the value in CDS view I_CharcAttribSelectedCodeSet. However, when printing the quality certificate, the SelectedCodeSetText field is shown as empty in form display.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Maintain language-dependent short text for a selected code set in Edit Selected Sets app.
  2. Print quality certificate in Manage Quality Certificates for Batches app or Change Outbound Delivery app -> delivery output for quality certificate.
  3. Observe the SelectedCodeSetText field is shown as empty in quality certificate form display.

Cause

This is a known coding issue. The SelectedCodeSetText is not drawn directly from the CDS view I_CharcAttribSelectedCodeSet, but from a layer called "Output Management" using a form data provider with its own CDS view. 

Resolution

The correction will be delivered with 2608.2 release on October 19th.
