Resolution

When the data source of a column in a Story report is unclear, you can identify it by checking the Column ID.

  1. Open the Story report.
  2. Navigate to the Query Designer (Data Source).
  3. Go to Column Overview.
  4. Check the Column ID.
  5. The Column ID follows a path-based naming convention: <Schema>#<Object>#<Field> (example: user_information_sac#USER#USERS_SYS_ID). Therefore, the Column ID can be used as a reliable reference to determine
what data a column is retrieving.
