Reproducing the Issue
Resolution
SAP Datasphere has file Virus/Malwares scanning funtionality.
- For the Import functionality used in Create local table from a CSV File in Data Builder, only CSV files are supported, files of this kind of extension are only read and not be executed by Datasphere, thus there is no possibility of a Virus/Malware infecting Datasphere via this functionality.
- For the Upload functionality used in Creating Marketplace Data Products, as documented in the Help guide:
---
Uploaded files are scanned by the SAP malware scanner service immediately. A file will be immediately rescanned if it was last called up 3 or more days ago. If the file contains malicious content, it will be blocked and flagged as quarantined. You will get a notification about the incident, and the file won't be accessible for consumers any longer.
