3832303 - Transfer event reason appears for employee without direct reports on termination screen

• On the termination screen, the Transfer Direct Reports section displays for an employee who has no direct reports.
• The employee has no active, inactive, or future-dated reportees.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Open the Termination UI for the affected employee.
2. Observe that the Transfer Direct Reports section is displayed even though the employee has no direct reports.

Onboardee records referenced the employee as manager. These records are considered when rendering the termination screen, causing the Transfer Direct Reports section to appear.

To identify the onboardee users, follow below steps.

1. Open Data Inspector.
2. Go to Job Information Audit.
3. Filter for records where the manager equals the employee being terminated.
4. Identify any onboardee/pending hire records that reference this employee as manager.
5. Update those records to assign the correct manager or remove the unintended manager reference.
