3832320 - Secondary resource activity not confirmed during milestone confirmation in process orders

You make a milestone confirmation on a process order, but the secondary resource activity is not confirmed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create or edit a master recipe and assign a primary resource to a phase.
2. Assign one or more secondary resources to the same phase.
3. Save and release the recipe.
4. Create a process order and release it.
5. Perform a milestone confirmation on the milestone phase (phase-level confirmation).
6. Review posted confirmations and activity postings.
7. Observe that primary resource activities post, while secondary resource activities remain unconfirmed.

Confirming planned values on secondary resources during milestone phase confirmation is not directly supported. The standard system provides the following confirmation capabilities:

• Primary Phase Confirmation: When confirming a milestone phase, the system automatically confirms all preceding phases based on established relationships;
• Secondary Resource Confirmation: Secondary resources must be confirmed separately using time ticket confirmation or time event confirmation processes;
• Milestone Logic: Milestone confirmation triggers automatic confirmation of related phases but does not extend to secondary resource planned values.

Confirm the secondary resources separately in confirmation apps such as Confirm Process Order Phase (COR6N).
