3832507 - Emails value XXXX is not a valid email address error shown in Identity Provisioning job log

Symptom

When running an Identity Provisioning entities are showing up as failed in the job log with error as below.

error=HTTP operation failed invoking *source target system url* with statusCode: 400, Response: {"schemas":["urn:ietf:params:scim:api:messages:2.0:Error"],"detail":"Emails value XXXX is not a valid email address","status":"400","scimType":"invalidValue"}
