Symptom
- Future-Dated Recurring Pay Components Remain After Workflow-Approved Termination.
- The behavior does not repeat if no workflows are linked to the transaction.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Termination
Reproducing the Issue
Make sure an Event Reason has “Delete Future-Dated Records After Termination” set to Yes in Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures, then:
- Select an employee with a future-dated Compensation Information or recurring pay component change effective in a future date later than the termination date
- Initiate termination
- Complete the required termination workflow approval
- Review Job Information and Compensation Information histories after approval
- Observe that Compensation Information record later than the termination date is kept
