3832623 - Date Override Not Working in I9 for Global Assignment - Onboarding

As an Onboarding user completing Form I-9 Section 2, I want First Date of Employment to be provided through FieldMetaOverrideConfiguration, pre-populated from Employee Central with the employee’s most recent Hire or Rehire date, and editable using a date picker, specifically during the Global Assignment function, so that the date printed on Form I-9 is accurate for compliance while allowing controlled override when needed.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Open the employee's Job Information record.
2. Note the value in custom field.
3. Note the employee's Global Assignment Start Date.
4. Open the employee's Onboarding process.
5. Navigate to US Compliance Forms > Form I-9 > Section 2. This is where the employer reviews and completes the I-9 information.
6. Review the First Day of Employment field displayed on the form.

Product Defect.

• This is a known defect and engineering team has introduced an enhancement.

Two new functionalities are will be enabled:

• ability to override start date on i9 section2.
• ability to change start date directly on i9 section 2 page.

ENHANCEMENT: OBX-45534

• The enhancement targets to create a toggle in the Compliance Settings so the customer can enable it in their instance.

WORKAROUND:

• The two toggles need to be enabled by the Engineering Team.
• Raise a support ticket and provide your approval to enable the toggles.
• Support team need to reach out to the Engineering Team in enabling the toggle.
