• During goods receipt posting against an Inbound Delivery in MIGO with movement type 107, an error occurs.
• Error: "Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 107 _ _ E B _ E) Message no. M7226".
• Context: Two-step GR for a non-stock purchase order item with account assignment E, with the Origin Acceptance indicator selected in the PO item.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Start MIGO.
2. Choose Goods Receipt and reference Inbound Delivery.
3. Enter an inbound delivery and set movement type to 107.
4. Post or simulate.
5. The system triggers the error message: "Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 107 _ _ E B _ E) Message no. M7226".

• Process not supported: Non-stock materials (no quantity and value updating) do not support two-step GR with movement types 107/109 for special stock E (account assignment E). Movement type 107 requires quantity- and value-managed stock, and special stock E is not supported for 107/109 in standard design, causing the missing update control entry (M7226).

1. Do not use two-step GR with movement types 107/109 for non-stock items or with special stock E; this is standard system behavior and no correction is available.
2. For non-stock/direct consumption procurement, post the goods receipt with movement type 101 and do not set the Origin Acceptance indicator on the PO item.
3. If Origin Acceptance is a business requirement, use materials that are quantity- and value-managed (stock materials) to enable movement types 107/109.
