Symptom
• Logo appears as a broken image in exported Process Documentation (PDF or Word).
• The same logo displays correctly in the Process Documentation template editor.
• Occurs when using a custom Process Documentation template.
Environment
• SAP Signavio Process Manager
• PDF Import / Export for SAP Signavio
• Custom Process Documentation templates
Reproducing the Issue
1. Open a custom Process Documentation template in SAP Signavio Process Manager.
2. Insert a company logo into the template.
3. Export the Process Documentation as PDF or Word.
4. Check the exported file and note the logo shows as a broken image while it looks correct in the template editor.
Cause
The logo file is in .jfif format, which is not supported by the export service; it may appear in the editor but fails during server-side export, resulting in a broken image.
Resolution
1. Confirm the logo file type. Supported formats: JPEG (.jpg/.jpeg), PNG, GIF, WebP, APNG, FLIF, MNG.
2. Rename .jfif to .jpg or convert the logo to a supported format.
3. Upload the renamed or converted file to the SAP Signavio workspace.
4. Edit the Process Documentation template to reference the new supported-format graphic.
5. Save the template and export the Process Documentation as PDF or Word to verify the logo renders correctly.
6. Optionally delete the old .jfif file from workspace storage to prevent reuse.
