Symptom
- Users are unable to complete courses because content sections are not showing independently.
- Users receive reminders to complete courses even after completing one or more modules.
- Visibility of each section is not clear, causing confusion about overall course completion.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- User attempts to complete a course.
- User completes a module within the course.
- The course remains marked as incomplete and reminders to complete the course continue.
Cause
The user mistook the completion of a single module for completion of the entire course; the learning item only completes after all modules/assessments in the course are completed.
Resolution
- Verify the course structure to confirm that multiple modules/assessments must be completed to mark the learning item complete.
- Communicate to learners that all modules/assessments must be completed for the course to be considered complete and to stop reminders.
- Enable “Complete Content in Sequence” for the content to guide learners through all sections in order and improve section visibility.
- Note: The disclaimer in AICC content cannot be modified within the product.
- If further customization or guidance is needed for content behavior, consider engaging Professional Services.
