3832998 - Process Locked status in Manage Your Test Processes and how to proceed - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The message "Process Locked" with a padlock icon is displayed in the top-right corner of the Test Process Details screen in the Manage Your Test Processes app after clicking Edit. 

 "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. 

1. Open the Manage Your Test Processes app.
2. Select a test process from the list.
3. Click the Edit button (bottom-right corner of the screen).
4. The "Process Locked" message appears in the top-right corner of the Test Process Details screen. 

The "Process Locked" message is informational only. It appears after clicking the Edit button to confirm that the test process is locked by the current user's session as it is in edit mode.

To make changes to the process, follow the steps below:

1. 1. Open the Manage Your Test Processes application.
   2. Navigate to the relevant test process.
   3. Click the relevant process step that you wish to edit. 
   4. Click the Edit button within the process step.
   5. Edit the process as required.
   6. Click Save.
