3833075 - New records created in CE4xxxx_ACCT table during WB2R\_SC check run mode execution

Symptom

  • When executing transactions test/simulation mode, new records are created in table CE4xxxx_ACCT
  • When executing transactions which have failed to post a document, new records are created in table CE4xxxx_ACCT.
  • No documents are posted during a simulation run or failed update run, yet profitability segments are committed to the database.
  • This behavior is unexpected, as users assume that simulation mode does not perform any database writes.
