3833134 - Internal Settlement for own Fleet in Freight Settlement - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In SAP S/4HANA Public cloud, 6W4 scope item currently only allows settling the freight document with external carriers. Is it not possible to create a Freight Document for the own fleet (where the company owns the transport vehicles) and perform an internal settlement in order to record the internal freight costs.  

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Freight Bookings app.
2. Create a new freight booking with relevant transportation details.
3. Assign an internal carrier (own fleet) to the freight booking.
4. Maintain freight charges within the freight booking.
5. Attempt to create a freight settlement document.

Currently internal Settlement for Own Fleet is Not Supported in Standard 6W4 Scope. The standard Freight Settlement scope item (6W4) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is designed to settle freight costs with external carriers and freight forwarders. The settlement process involves posting freight costs to Financial Accounting as accruals and processing carrier invoices through Accounts Payable — a workflow that is inherently oriented toward third-party service providers. 

Currently internal Settlement for own fleet is not supported in standard 6W4 Scope. Use SAP Continuous Influence process (session: SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Supply Chain Logistics, public edition) to formally request own-fleet internal settlement as a product enhancement.
